Forest School HLTA

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for Forest School to enhance our curriculum and inspire pupils through creative and engaging learning experiences.

Salary

£27,354.43 – £28,575.22 per year (38 weeks, 37.5 hours/week). For four days a week: £21,883.54 – £22,860.18.

Responsibilities

• Teach primary-age children, including those with SEN, in the Forest School curriculum.
• Plan, prepare, deliver, and assess CPD lessons, PPA cover, extra‑curricular club sessions, and other related programmes to enhance the School’s Forest School provision.
• Ensure all equipment associated with the Forest School session is correctly set up, maintained, stored, and returned on completion.
• Establish constructive relationships and communicate with external agencies as required.
• Lead agreed enrichment activities.
