Athona Recruitment is offering a permanent Forensic Specialty Doctor position at a private inpatient service in the East Midlands, Lincoln. The role carries a salary of up to £90,000 per annum and a full‑time commitment of 37.5 hours per week. The unit comprises 28 low‑secure beds and operates on a 5‑day per week schedule>

Role Responsibilities

• Undertake psychiatric and external assessments for clients referred to the unit and determine appropriate level of care, under the direction and supervision of the consultant psychiatrist, while working with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the care programme is delivered.
• Prepare discharge summaries, reports and other documentation, e.g. for CPA meetings, in line with consultant direction.
• Participate in learning activities, supervision and clinical governance activities; account for contracted time used in research, CPD and non‑clinical duties.
