Foreman (Traffic Management)

As a Foreman, you will lead by example in delivering a zero‑compromise approach to safety and quality. Install, maintain, and remove traffic management in line with Chapter 8 and approved drawings. Work safely, comply with regulations, and represent VolkerHighways professionally at all times.

This Foreman position is based within the Traffic Management division, operating from our Wokingham depot.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver traffic management operations in line with NHSS 12 and Chapter 8 (12A/B & 12D)
• Supervise, support and mentor operatives and trainees
• Ensure all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to required standards
• Conduct site surveys and review/approve TM layouts where required
• Maintain and check TM equipment, reporting defects promptly
• Complete all job records, permits, and required documentation accurately
