Foreign Affairs Specialist (State Department Liaison)

Summary Serve as the Department of State Liaison for TEAM SUBMARINE. The incumbent acts as the principal Department of War (DoW) representative and subject matter expert on defense matters to assigned bureaus and offices within the Department of State. The purpose of this position is responsible for cultivating a network of productive relationships, representing DoW equities in interagency forums, and facilitating communication and deconfliction between the Departments to advance U.S. national security.
