Summary Located in the Bureau of Economic, Energy, and Business Affairs, under the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Energy and Critical Minerals, Office of Critical Minerals (EEB/ECM/EM). Provides strategic and tactical advice on issues relating to critical mineral mining, processing, refining, and recycling; supply chain security and diversification; market dynamics; and international partnerships to secure access to minerals essential for energy, defense, and advanced technologies.
