Food Services Assistant

• To ensure meal assembly for all meals, snacks and late orders.
• To deliver patient meals and snacks including ala carte menu from Dietary Services to the patient's bedside.
• To perform all food & beverage preparation for inpatient.
• To collect soiled trays from patients upon completion of meals.
• Adheres to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures; maintains temperature/time logs as required, and maintains appropriate dating, labelling, and rotation of all food items.
• To clean working areas regularly and perform weekly general cleaning as directed.
• To operate and maintain good condition of all food preparation equipment and utensils.
• To check and fill up the recommended stock level of all food service items regularly. Order for food stock from the dry store by using the Requisition Form, if needed.
