Job Overview

Food Service Worker (Temporary Part Time). Location: 4100 Upper Middle Road, Burlington, Ontario L7M 4W8. Hiring rate: $18.57 per collective agreement/employee association agreement.

Responsibilities

• Completed, enrolled in, or willing to enroll in the Food Services Worker training program;
• Display a caring and respectful attitude toward residents, families, and team members;
• Assist in serving meals and beverages to residents while ensuring compliance with diets and food preferences and following safe and sanitary food handling techniques;
• Support and embrace a resident-centered social culture and deliver highest quality customer service;
• Assist with the preparation of catering functions and events, and maintain clean dining room and workspace;
• Be able to lift up to 35 lbs;
• Have exceptional time management skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team;
