Food Service Supervisor (Kelowna)

Interior Health is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to join our Support Services Team at Cottonwoods in Kelowna, BC.

In this role, you will supervise designated staff by scheduling and coordinating work assignments, determining related training and orientation requirements, and providing feedback to employees. You will also consult with the Clinical Dietician to plan menus and develop recipes according to nutritional and therapeutic diet needs of the patients/residents.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Estimating food requirements, placing orders, and resolving discrepancies with suppliers.
• Visiting patients/residents and/or family members to obtain and exchange diet-related information.
• Monitoring expenditures for assigned areas; making recommendations regarding budget allocations and resolving discrepancies.
