Floor Technician

Job Summary: Floor Technicians will be responsible for overall floor maintenance and care. Completing any assigned floor care or projects in office space areas, general areas, restrooms, entrance ways, stairwells and elevators. Floor Technicians also ensure equipment is kept in proper working order and have good working knowledge of the uses of various floor care chemicals.

Typical schedule is overnight however must be flexible based on the start and end time of various scheduled events.


Essential Duties:

+ Performs preventative maintenance checks on all floor maintenance equipment (vacuum cleaners, scrubbing machines, polishing machines, and general housekeeping equipment) prior to use at beginning and end of shift.

+ Responsible for performing floor care, including routine mopping (dry and damp), buffing and burnishing on hard surfaces.
