Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Floater Phlebotomist I to join our laboratory services team. The ideal candidate will perform specimen collection and processing across multiple units, ensuring accuracy, patient comfort, and compliance with established protocols. This role requires adaptability, strong technical skills, and the ability to work with diverse patient populations including pediatric and geriatric patients.Key Responsibilities
  • Perform blood draws, specimen labeling, centrifuging, and decontamination procedures.
  • Collect and store specimens according to established protocols.
  • Clearly and courteously explain venipuncture and other specimen collection processes to patients.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with straight needles and butterfly needles.
  • Accurately match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes.
