Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Float Phlebotomist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in phlebotomy and be fully comfortable using straight needles. Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with computers are essential. This role involves drawing blood, data entry, and processing samples in a busy patient services center.
Responsibilities

+ Greet and register patients as they arrive.

+ Perform 20-40 blood draws per day using straight needles or butterfly needles.

+ Enter and update patient information in the system accurately.

+ Process and label specimens according to established procedures.

+ Collect, store, label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test orders.

+ Document and update records for 30-50 patients daily.
