Job Description
We work with local primary, secondary, Special Needs (SEND) schools and Pupil Referral Units (PRU). These roles include temporary positions as teaching assistants (TA) and Learning Support Assistants (LSA), supporting young people on a 1-1 basis or small groups. The ideal candidate will: -thrive in busy environments -be proactive, adaptable and able to take initiative to support students during lessons -be confident in prevention and de-escalation strategies -be approachable and able to build strong rapports with a variety of students -experience with young people with SEMH needs -this does not need to be in a classroom as experience in prisons, shelters and with vulnerable people is invaluable The hours are 8:30 – 3:30 during term-time, and we have either full time roles available or a few days a week if preferred. The pay is £92.63 per day. A fully enhanced DBS will be needed to start work. If you do not currently have a DBS on the update service, you will need to be able to get one....
