Job DescriptionYou will be responsible to the local Depot Engineer for leading the Depot’s Shunting Team, promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring sufficient competent personnel and materials are available to carry out the daily tasks, whilst fully participating in the rostered shunter duties Essential Criteria • Currently a Fleet Technical Assistant in Fortwilliam depot
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an engineering or railway environment, in a semi-skilled or skilled capacity.
• Knowledge of COSHH and use of cleaning chemicals
• PTS Trained
• Rulebook Trained
• Awareness of good housekeeping of Workshop facilities
• Experience working in manual job. Desirable Criteria • Experience in Engineering Maintenance
• Experience of using steam cleaning/power washing equipment • Possess a current driving licence for work-related purposes when required to attend other locations. Please Note: This role will close at 12 noon on ...
