Fixed Term HCA

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Herne Bay Urgent Treatment Centre, for a Health Care Assistant to join our dynamic and supportive team. This is a fantastic chance to work in a fast paced, patient focused environment when no two days are the same.

Main duties of the job

Checking treatment room cupboards daily and setting up the rooms for the day.

Imputing patient information and entering results of blood pressure, urinalysis etc onto the computer

Keep all cupboards and trolleys well stocked, clean and tidy.

Working alongside clinicians in the provision of patient care

Undertake and record a range of tasks which may include:

• Height and weight
• Urinalysis
• Blood pressure, temperature and pulse
• Recording ECG
• Assisting with simple dressings
• Recognise changes in patients observations, which must be reported and acted on.
• Assist clinicians in emergency management of patients. <...
