Fixed Plant mechanic

About the Role
Our client is currently looking for an experienced and driven Fixed Plant Mechanic to support asphalt plant operations across South-East Queensland, with a base at Ormeau.
This is a practical, hands-on position working across a range of fixed asphalt and blending plants, focused on maintaining reliability, safety, and overall operational efficiency.

• Permanent role based out of Ormeau
• Monday to Friday 38hr week
• Overtime on offer + penalties pnm nightshift and weekend work
• Possibility for regional assignments and occasional weekend work.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnosis, repairs, and ongoing maintenance on mechanical systems within fixed asphalt and blending plants
• Troubleshoot and resolve faults across plant equipment including conveyors, burners, pumps...
