About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Machine Fitter / Mechanical Fitter to join a skilled maintenance team within a manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for both preventative and reactive maintenance of fixed plant and mechanical equipment, ensuring plant reliability, safety, and uptime.
Key Responsibilities
Preventative and breakdown maintenance on mechanical plant and machinery
Mechanical fault finding and repairs
Maintenance of conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, hydraulics, and pneumatics
Safe isolation of equipment using Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO) procedures
Working in accordance with WHS policies and site procedures
Accurate maintenance reporting and effective communication with operations teams
