Job Overview

Under the general direction of the Mechanical Superintendent, the Pipefitter General Foreperson will assist in supervising, coordinating, and scheduling construction activities for their scope within the Steam Generator Replacement Team (SGRT) project – a joint venture of Aecon and Framatome at Bruce Power’s Kincardine, Ontario site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent relationships with client, engineers, consultants, subcontractors and the public.
• Ensure all work is conducted safely in compliance with safety, quality, and human performance policies.
• Use the project master schedule to create detailed look‑ahead schedules for forecasting and planning.
• Assist in developing recovery strategies when the project schedule or budget are jeopardized.
• Plan and approve the work of own forces and subcontractors, determining methods of construction, manpower levels, materials, tools & equipment, rentals, ...
