Fitter and Turner

An exciting opportunity exists at Nampak Diversified (TOPS) for a FITTER & TURNER . This position reports to the Technician Leader

Key responsibilities include:

• Attending to mechanical breakdowns and stoppages
• Spares control and ensure effective maintenance/refurbishment on all equipment.
• Ensuring that equipment is at maximum availability
• Fault finding and identifying root causes of problems
• Complete audits on Ends Equipment when required
• Ensuring product specs and procedures are followed by operations.
• Grinding, turning, milling and fitting tasks
• Control and enhancement of all drawings and upgrades.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

• Qualified artisan N3 or Matric, with a Fitter & Turner/ToolMaker trade test certificate
• 5 years post qualification experience in a Mechanical workshop
