About The Position

The First Nations Recreation and Sport Consultant builds strong, collaborative relationships with Yukon First Nations to support inclusive sport, recreation, and active living opportunities across the territory. The role provides funding, planning, and program support to First Nations, sport, and community organizations while advancing Indigenous sport participation across the territory. It also supports Major Games, advances safe sport initiatives, and works to strengthen partnerships, reduce barriers, and create meaningful opportunities for Indigenous athletes, coaches, and communities.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sport or Recreation Administration, Sport Management or related field.
