**Job Description**

+ The Firewatch supports refurbishment activities by assisting skilled trades personnel and closely monitoring welding operations to prevent fire hazards. This role involves handling materials and tools, maintaining clean work areas, and staying alert and focused throughout the shift in a dynamic repair facility environment.

**Responsibilities**

+ Support all functional areas involved in LCAC refurbishment efforts.
+ Pick, handle, and organize materials, parts, and tools to support daily operations.
+ Serve as an assistant to ship fitters, mechanics, electricians, and welders as directed.
+ Continuously observe welders while they work to identify and respond to potential fire hazards.
+ Maintain a high level of attention to detail when monitoring sparks, slag, and surrounding materials during welding activities.
