This role focuses on monitoring welding activities on the exterior structural framework of a building in Manhattan to ensure a safe work environment and compliance with fire safety regulations.

**Responsibilities**

+ Continuously watch welding operations on the exterior structural framework of a building to identify and mitigate potential fire hazards.
+ Ensure that the work area remains clear of combustible materials and that appropriate fire safety measures are in place before, during, and after welding activities.
+ Monitor construction activities around welding operations to maintain a safe perimeter and prevent unsafe practices.
+ Remain on post for the duration of welding work, maintaining constant vigilance and attention to detail.
