Fire stopper

DT Source are currently seeking experienced Fire Stoppers at Manchester airport.

Responsibilities:

* Installing fire-stopping systems such as:

* Batt and mastic

* Fire-resistant sealants

* Pipe collars and wraps

* Cavity barriers

* Reading construction drawings and fire protection plans.

* Sealing gaps around pipes, cables, ducts, and other penetration

* Ensuring work complies with UK fire safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in passive fire protection and fire stopping.

* NVQ in Passive Fire Protection (preferred but not essential).

* FIRAS, BM TRADA, or equivalent accreditation experience advantageous.

* Own tools, PPE, and transport.

* Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
