The Kativik Regional Government (KRG) is a supra-municipal organization with jurisdiction over the territory of Québec located north of the 55th parallel. The KRG is currently seeking to recruit a professional candidate with strong communication skills to work in the capacity of:

FIRE SERVICE INSTRUCTOR (Rotation, Permanent)

Under the supervision of the Civil Security Coordinator and in collaboration with the Firefighter Training Officer and the École Nationale des Pompiers du Quebec (ÉNPQ), the Fire Service Instructor will facilitate various firefighter related courses, leading to the NFPA 1001 and Firefighter 1 certification of volunteer firefighters as well as any other training deemed necessary by the Civil Security Department.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate training for Nunavik’s volunteer firefighters, such as NFPA Firefighter 1001 Level 1 & 2, auto-extrication, etc.
