Fire Safety Officer

Job summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and resourceful individual who is flexible and able to cope with different work environments. The ability to work under pressure/meet tight deadlines whilst delivering high quality work is required. A willingness to travel between sites is also essential.

The post holder will work as part of the Health and Safety Team supporting the effective delivery of the fire safety management system across all services and sites within the organisation and its clients.

Main duties of the job

To provide specialist advice on matters of fire safety across the organisation in order to enable the organisation and its clients to comply with all relevant health and safety legislation.

Play a key role in training, inspection, developing, monitoring and auditing systems and processes to ensure legislative compliance and progress against the organisation and its client's annual health and safety action plan.
