Learn more about this authority at: Direct Hire Authority These two Wildland Firefighting (Prevention)(Trespass), GW-0456-12 positions are with the US Wildland Fire Service and will work in the following location(s): Any DOI Facility within the Great Basin Geographic Area (click for map) Responsibilities As a Fire Prevention & Trespass Coordinator your duties will include but are not limited to the following: Serves as technical expert and provides senior level oversight on wildland fire prevention activities. Analyzes statistical data and identifies major causes of wildland fire and ensures that these causes are accurately addressed in the appropriate wildland fire prevention programs and the fire management plan.
