Fire Engineer – Design Assurance

Turner & Townsend are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of fire engineering design assurance across a portfolio of complex projects, including both fissile and non-fissile environments.

Fire Engineering Design Assurance

• Undertake independent review of fire engineering designs to ensure alignment with project requirements and applicable standards
• Provide assurance on both fissile and non-fissile project designs, identifying risks, gaps and opportunities for improvement
• Review fire strategies, calculations, and supporting documentation as part of the design assurance process
• Apply a risk-proportionate approach to design review, ensuring solutions are practical, compliant and aligned with project constraints
• Support project teams in resolving technical fire safety issues and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies
