Amentum, a global leader in advanced engineering, technical, and professional services serving the US government, allies and critical infrastructure sectors, is seeking a Fire Chief to support a government contract based on the island of Diego Garcia. PURPOSE / SCOPE
The Fire Chief is responsible for efficiently, safely and in compliance with Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Amentum ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS) providing Fire and Emergency Services, including crash and fire prevention ensuring readiness and compliance with NFPA / DOD requirements.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responds to large scale emergencies and makes decisions related to emergency management and fire ground operations to include evaluating and directing emergency operations to protect life and property IAW international, US and PWS requirements and guidelines.
