Our client, a leading organisation operating within the mining industry, is seeking to employ an experienced Financial Manager to join their team in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6–8 years' progressive finance management experience.
- Minimum 3 years' finance management experience within the mining industry.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
- Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) qualification.
- Regular travel to operations in the Northern Cape and North West will be required.
- Demonstrated experience managing the full finance function within a mining or mineral processing environment.
- IFRS and applicable South African accounting standards.
- Mining-specific accounting, including:
- Mining rights amortisation.
- Rehabilitation provisions.
- Ore inventory valuation.
