About our Client

This company is a well-established, publicly listed technology solutions provider in Malaysia. They are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead the finance function. This role will be overseeing financial reportings, controls, compliance and strategic finance within a project based environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing and reporting.
• Oversee statutory reporting, audit, tax, and regulatory compliance.
• Strengthen internal controls, governance, and financial processes.
• Develop and lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis for the business.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
• Manage and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and stakeholders.
