Financial Controller

A Financial Controller is sought for a well established manufacturing SME with the backing of a larger group. The role would be well suited to a qualified accountant with strong reporting experience, ideally gained in a production based business.

This role sits at the centre of the finance function, working closely with operational leadership and senior management to deliver accurate reporting, strengthen financial controls, and provide commercially focused insight. The successful candidate will take ownership of core financial processes while acting as a key partner to the wider business on performance, forecasting, and investment decisions.

Key responsibilities
Lead the month end close process and ensure reporting deadlines are achieved
Prepare monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis and commentary
