Financial Clearance Representative

Job Description
A healthcare organization in the Los Angeles area is seeking a Financial Clearance Representatives to support their growing team. This position will be a part of the Authorizations Team, responsible for obtaining service authorizations for patients seen at clinics across multiple states and cities (4 clinics in Arizona, 2 Clinics in Chicago, and 1 clinic in Atlanta). The current team size is 9 members. They will be submitting authorizations and verifying insurance for specifically imaging and radiology. They will be working with all types of insurance plans: HMOs, PPOs, Medi-Cal, Medicare, etc. across the given states. This person will need to quickly become familiar with the different plan types for the different locations. Experience with Epic EHR system is a huge plus.
