Financial Accountant

The Opportunity

The Financial Accountant provides expert accounting services to the University and is pivotal in maintaining accurate general ledger and accounting integrity, overseeing critical month-end and year-end processes, delivering high-quality financial accounting advice, and assisting with statutory reporting. The Financial Accountant will also play a key role in engaging with audit and compliance matters.

This position will be responsible for delivering the University’s core financial accounting functions, including oversight of month-end and year-end close-off processes and providing advanced financial analysis. You'll assist in the preparation of highly complex consolidated financial statements, support audit compliance, and provide technical advice to inform strategic decision-making.
