Job Description

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to support our growing team in Krakow office.
The Financial Accountant plays a critical role in supporting the Finance function at MDPI by maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely month-end closings, compliance with local accounting standards and supporting global financial reporting. The role focuses on financial accounting, reconciliations, VAT compliance, and financial process improvements. As a Financial Accountant, you will collaborate closely with the global finance team and external accounting providers.

This is a full-time, in-office and entry level position based in our Krakow office.

Tasks & Responsibilities


  • Maintain complete and accurate bookkeeping in line with Polish GAAP and internal group accounting policies.

  • Coordinate with the external accounting company to ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
