Invoice processing: Receiving, Verifying, and entering invoices into the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.

Payment registration: Matching incoming customer payments to their corresponding open invoices.

Aging analysis: Provide a clear snapshot of the status of receivables and identify potential collection risks.

Credit management: Establish safe credit limits and terms that maximize sales while minimizing bad debt risk.

Allowance for Doubtful Accounts: Adhere to the matching principle of accounting by recognizing an expense for bad debts in the same period the related revenue was earned.
