Job Opportunity: A03 Finance Officer

We are seeking a detail oriented Finance Officer for a 6-month contract to join a busy finance team. This role is specifically designed for a professional who enjoys the technical side of financial accounting, focusing on General Ledger integrity, journal processing, and balance sheet reconciliations rather than high-volume AP/AR processing.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely accounting services:

• Journal Management: Prepare and process various month end accrual journals, including agency staff, IT third-party charges, prepayments, and motor vehicle expenses.
• Reconciliations: Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations with associated working papers for Finance Manager review.
• Fixed Assets: Update and maintain the Non MV fixed asset register, undertake annual stocktakes, and prepare reports for audit endorsement.
