Job Description
Our client, a prominent international shipping company, is seeking a Finance Manager to lead their Malaysian financial operations. This is a critical leadership role for a qualified professional who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and possesses the strategic mindset to drive business improvement.
Reporting to the Country Manager, with a matrix line to the Group Financial Controller, you will be the primary authority on all financial, management, and statutory reporting for the Malaysia business unit.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Reporting: Oversee the end-to-end production of monthly accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and provide insightful variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
Working Capital & Tax: Direct all aspects of accounts payable/receivable and manage comprehensive tax compliance, including VAT, corporate tax filings, and payroll reconciliations.
