Overview
Our client, based in the Greyton area, requires an ambitious, hands-on Financial Manager to join their growing agribusiness in South Africa. This role combines operational financial control with strategic potential starting with budgeting, cost control, reporting, and evolving towards broader responsibilities in financial planning, IFRS reporting, audit preparation, and eventually group-level finance leadership.
Responsibilities Develop, monitor, and update annual budgets and forecasts. Provide monthly variance analysis (actual vs. budget). Monitor day-to-day operating expenses across business units (livestock, viticulture, tourism). Identify inefficiencies and recommend cost-saving initiatives. Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts. Ensure timely and accurate reporting for internal stakeholders and shareholders. Prepare documentation and support external auditors.
