The British Museum is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Finance Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality financial management, strategic planning and management information services across the Museum.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will lead a team of finance professionals and play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy, ensuring robust financial controls, and supporting organisational decision-making. The postholder will act as the Museum's recognised authority on accounting, compliance and financial reporting, while driving continuous improvement across systems, processes and performance management.

• ACA-qualified (or equivalent) with strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, audit, tax, VAT and regulatory compliance.
