Finance Data Analyst (SQL / Python)

Overview

The role supports the FP&A function through automation and data-driven reporting. It bridges finance and technology, helping to transition manual Excel-based processes into automated workflows using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Maconomy.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly and quarterly FP&A activities (budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis).
• Extract, transform, and analyse financial data from GCP BigQuery linked to Maconomy.
• Build and maintain automated reports and dashboards for regular financial cycles.
• Validate and reconcile financial data outputs to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Collaborate with the AAEE team to identify efficiency opportunities in financial reporting.
• Document processes and maintain data flow clarity between Maconomy, GCP, and reporting tools.
