Job Description
The Field Technician supports a variety of high‑power and hotel construction projects across eastern North Carolina by testing and evaluating construction materials at active job sites. This role plays a key part in ensuring materials meet quality and safety standards through field and laboratory testing of concrete, asphalt, soils, and other construction materials.
Responsibilities
Travel to construction job sites within approximately a one‑hour radius to perform on‑site testing and evaluation of construction materials.
Conduct concrete testing, including sampling, slump tests, air content tests, and preparation of test cylinders or other specimens as required.
Perform asphalt testing and inspection activities to verify compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
