Join Valard Construction's team as a Field Heavy Equipment Technician working on the Waasigan Transmission Line project near Thunder Bay, ON. Ensure the equipment is ready and reliable for the field teams.
We are looking for a mechanically skilled individual with experience in maintaining heavy construction equipment. This field position involves a work schedule of 20 days on and 8 days off. You will provide critical support in diagnosing and repairing equipment essential for project progress.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair heavy-duty equipment including cranes and diggers
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on-site
• Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
• Use JalTest software for accurate diagnostics
• Keep service documentation up to date for all repairs
