Field Service Technician - Downhole Service Equipment

Job Summary

The Field Service Technician is required to travel to customer locations and is responsible for commissioning, servicing, calibrating, troubleshooting, and tear down of specialized equipment related to shop service equipment. Travel is required when work is performed in the customer's shop.

Major Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues as they arise while keeping open communication with all personnel
• Maintain strong business relationships with all clients and stakeholders; respond to customer concerns promptly and efficiently
• Diagnose problems and advise operators on how to properly maintain equipment
• Maintain records of services performed
• Adhere to all NOV policies and procedures (Vehicle, safety, correspondence, housekeeping)
• Upon supervisor request, work in the customer's shop occasionally
• Address issues as they arise
