Field Service Technician | Ripple Fiber
About the Role The Field Service Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of Ripple Fiber equipment in accordance with customer requirements and company standards. Technicians also ensure that customers receive the highest level of customer service.
Responsibilities Manage all last mile (drop and in‑home/in‑business networks) and access and in‑home or business equipment.
Fault find and resolve complaints.
Create and maintain network documentation.
Use monitoring network performance tools to troubleshoot problem areas.
Assist with escalations (2nd line support) to resolve end‑user issues.
Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and install broadband services such as Wi‑Fi routers and smart home devices.
Route a fiber optic drop cable from a termination box to a router’s location.
