Field Service Superintendent - Energy Power Plant (Bahía Blanca)

Field Service Superintendent – Energy Power Plant at Wärtsilä – responsible for leading and executing complex mechanical field service activities at customer power plants, primarily major repairs, overhauls, and troubleshooting of reciprocating internal combustion engines (RICE) and auxiliary systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute major mechanical overhauls, including full engine disassembly, inspection, repair and reassembly of 4‑stroke reciprocating engines and auxiliary equipment.
• Perform complex and advanced mechanical troubleshooting at customer power plants, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Act as Superintendent for complex service projects, leading on‑site execution and coordinating Service Engineers, Technicians and other field resources.
• Serve as the main technical point of contact for customers during service execution, leading technical discussions and managing expectations.
