FIELD SERVICE SPECIALIST - VALVES

Education

• Matric N3/N4 Qualified Fitter /Artisan/Turner/Turner Machinist advantage.

Experience

• 4 Years Experience in Valves, Actuators and controls.
• 2 Years’ experience specific to KSB Product.

Requirements

• Knowledge of HP (High Pressure) and LP (Low Pressure) Valves.
• Insight into on-site Valve Machining and Lapping.
• Strong fault‑finding and troubleshooting ability.
• Understanding of valve trim, seals, packing, seats, and internal components.
• Precision fitting with reference to components assembly, especially bearings, both white metal sleeve type as well as normal roller and ball bearings and also tilting pad arrangements.
• Precision measuring ability both inside and outside micrometers, verniers and depth gauges as well as telescopic gauges, and DTI’s.
• Sound engineering practices with regard to fitting of tolerance components,...
