Field Service Engineer, Ontario - Radiology

The primary purpose of the Radiology Field Service Engineer position is to provide direct on‑site service. This includes preventive maintenance, emergency service and installation support service to end‑user customers with Bayer Radiology Equipment.

The position is also responsible for ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction while assisting in reaching Bayer Radiology business objectives. Willingness to acquire and use sales skills is a must.

Challenges of this position include extensive travel (40,000 to 60,000 driving kilometers per year), working in the healthcare environment with a possibility of contaminated products, exposure to X‑rays and MRI magnetic fields, sick patients, and the need to lift heavy equipment (over 30 lb). A typical workweek approaches 50 hours including on‑call duty after regular business hours and weekends as needed.
