Responsibilities
- Obtains comprehensive security information and assesses impact on the safety and security in the Mission.
- Constant monitoring of open sources, collection of information through interlocutors and develop situational awareness.
- Assist in managing security and safety incidents / crisis.
- Manages all aspects of the administration and logistical work of the security unit.
- Receives, records, and appropriately takes action based on information received through all communication means.
- Assist in maintaining fire safety preparedness in all UNMOGIP facilities and conduct fire safety assessment and periodical drills for UNMOGIP facilities.
