Fibre Permitting Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily management of permitting activities for vendors, including weekly progress updates, escalation to vendor management, and reporting to the Permitting Lead and Permitting Project Manager.
• Maintain strong relationships with all road owners such as local councils (PBT), JKR, and landlords, and manage relationships with jurisdictions and right‑of‑way contacts.
• Work closely with the underlying rights group to identify and prepare start work permits and building access.
• Ensure timely permitting submission, review and endorse technical proposals in line with authorities’ guidelines and requirements, attend JSV meetings, and guarantee that UDM works/report are completed correctly.
• Push for consent letters, BD/BG payments, and permit follow‑up with PBT, JKR and the Land Office.
