**Job Description**

The Fiber Technician builds and terminates communication cables for military aircraft, working with both loose and tight structured fiber optic cables. This role focuses on high-quality installation, testing, and troubleshooting of fiber optic systems in a manufacturing environment, with occasional local travel to customer sites.

**Responsibilities**

+ Build and terminate fiber optic cables used in communications systems for military aircraft.
+ Work with both loose and tight structured fiber optic cables to meet precise specifications and quality standards.
+ Install, route, and secure fiber optic cabling and associated wiring in accordance with technical drawings and work instructions.
+ Use measuring tools to cut, prepare, and assemble cables and harnesses to exact lengths and tolerances.
