Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Fiber Splicer to support large-scale AWS data center and backbone fiber network projects. This role plays a critical part in network expansion, maintenance, and backbone cleanup initiatives across Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
This is a high-visibility position supporting critical infrastructure with strong long-term growth potential.
Key Responsibilities

+ Perform OSP/ISP fiber splicing across aerial and underground networks

+ Execute single fiber and ribbon splicing (including rollable ribbon)

+ Work with high-count fiber cables (24-strand up to 432/864 count)

+ Conduct fiber testing and troubleshooting using EXFO/OTDR equipment

+ Maintain strict splice quality and loss standards (target dB loss ~0.1–0...
